our vision

Building

a gospel community

for

the glory of Christ

and

the good of the city.

A Gospel Community

The gospel is the good news that God saves a people through the justifying work of Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection alone. We believe the church is the community built by God, through the gospel, to accomplish His purposes in the world. Unity in the church flows from the transformational power of the gospel.

For the Glory of Christ

We believe the church exists for the glory of Christ. We boldly proclaim His gospel because He is worthy of all worship in our own lives, in our city, and to the ends of the earth.

FOR THE GOOD OF THE CITY

We seek the good of our city by proclaiming the good news of salvation from sin and death through Jesus Christ while loving and serving our neighbors with mercy and compassion. Our aim is the highest good, which is the salvation of souls for the glory of Christ, but we also desire to love our city and seek its welfare in our daily lives.

CORE VALUES

Committed Community

We are a community built upon our commitment to see Christ formed in one another.

Gospel-rooted

We are a community rooted in the good news that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners.

Bible-Saturated

We are a community saturated in the Bible. In preaching, teaching, singing, and conversation we recognize the Bible as our sole authority.

Prayer-driven

We are a community driven by persistent prayer, knowing the Sovereign Lord has determined to act according to the prayers of His people.

multi-cultural community

We are a community from multiple cultures, ethnicities, and backgrounds who believe that our union with Christ should be manifested in the fellowship of the local church.

missional community

We are a community who do all we can to spread the knowledge of the glory of the Lord over the face of this earth as the waters cover the sea.

merciful and just community

We are a community who seeks the welfare of all image-bearers by serving the poor, caring for the widows, protecting the orphans, drawing near to the hurting, and fighting for the lives of the unborn.

theologically-informed community

We are a community who craves theology (study of God) because we know that deep theology leads to greater doxology (praise of God).

generous community

We are a community who gives generously of our money, time, and talents for the advance of the Kingdom of God.

complementarian community

We are a community who believes that God has ordained complementary roles for men and women in the church and in the home. Embracing our God-given roles leads to human flourishing.
